The photobiomodulation therapy
LED therapy, a form of photobiomodulation therapy (PBMT), is the application of therapeutic red and near-infrared light to tissue that has been compromised by injury, illness, or degeneration.
All light is composed of photons, which are submicroscopic energy particles that travel in waves. Red light and near-infrared light, which exist just beyond the visible light spectrum, are characterized by long, “gentle” wavelengths that penetrate tissue and deliver restorative benefits at the cellular level.
Because the full-body phototherapy systems are carefully calibrated to deliver this therapeutic light at precise frequencies, the healing effects are completely safe, entirely non-invasive, and clinically proven to be beneficial.
